...because my game will blow you away (or maybe it won't... It's hard to tell when all you have are ideas in your head, a few ripped sprites, and a title screen). My game is called Super Bowser RPG: Legend of the Sour Suckers. It starts as a traditional Mario game... with the exception that you're playing as Bowser as he captures Princess Peach. Then, Bowser decides to celebrate with a bag of sour suckers, but when he goes to the store... ALL OF THE SOUR SUCKERS HAVE BEEN STOLEN!!!! He quickly learns of the notorious sour sucker thief, Justin Myers, who lives in the Mystical Realm of Ohio. Forcing Peach to come along, Bowser sets off on a quest to claim what is rightfully his. That is as much as I'm saying now. I'll give away more information before long (I'll put a dat on the Calendar)

You're probably a lot better off making your own versions of Bowser, because I'm guessing you're using Super Mario RPG sprites, and those won't look great when converted to 16 colors

Well, the story is certainly out there... I don't see why he wants to celebrate with sour suckers, though.
Guess I can't say much for the game right now. All I have is the story, a very minor element of a game... When I see some screen shots of the gameplay and graphic elements, I will know whether it will be mind blowing for me or not. I eagerly await those. Happy

Fyrewulff, I'm not using Super Mario RPG sprites (Super Mario RPG was an isometric game, so the Bowser sprites from that would appear to be walking weird). The best sprites I could find were from Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. They aren't perfect, but They'll work.

I've decided to postpone this game until I get more experience. Making a good fan game is very hard even for an experienced developer, so there isn't even a chance of me making a good one. I'll post details about the project I'm doing instead sometime close to when its finished, so I can make sure that I won't change my mind and move on to another idea before it's finished.
