How come I haven't seen any games with a time-traveling theme? I admit that a lot of the realistic aspects (ironic) of time travel get blitzed to hell (talking to your mom in the past, how you don't all of a sudden change appearance/strength based on what you do in past, all kinds of things that are unfeasable and would take WAY too much programming) but Chrono Trigger was fun. Through and through, that game was amazing. I loved it. Same with ToP; that game was just fun. Even though the time traveling didn't really have much to do with the storyline (and you were kinda stuck in one time for a long time, then another, and there was no option to move back and forth) it did play a part. My next game will have a bit to do with time-traveling, and I think it should be at least attempted.

Play Dark Cloud 2! It has that theme of saveing the the world from the present which effects the future. It's pretty fun! _________________ You may only address me as OVERLORD Neko-Kame... Never Ne-Ne-Ka! |

Aren't many games with time-travel? You're blind!
There are a lot of time-travel RPGs for OHR. Of course, there aren't a lot of good time-travel RPGs, but I would recommend Time Flies. A mite short, but good nonetheless. |

There's lots of Time-Travelling RPGs out there. You just gotta look. Maybe not as good as Chrono Trigger. Actually to tell you the truth, I never beat Chrono Trigger. I can't make Fiona do something, or what... |

Ok, is Fiona the woman who's trying to keep the forest alive or something? If so, that's a sidequest, you don't need to do it to beat the game. _________________ Locked

All RPGs are time travelling. Mostly forward, though.
Strange I had to be the smartass to say this.. |

hmm, funny how i made that post without ever checking the gamelist. Not only are there games with a time-traveling theme, there are 3 games with time in the title. Still, i like the theme.
What ever happened to that game boogerman for SNES? _________________ -Ain't no gettin' offa this train we're on

I know talking to Fiona is a sidequest but I want to complete the game with the best stuff. Anyway...
Even a non-time travelling based game could have some time-travel. Some games just do it because it's... well... I don't know. But it doesn't need to be a chrono game to have time travel. In Final Fantasy 8 and 10 you time travel. |

Stop (my current project) had a time traveling theme, and I'm trying to not make it a stupid Chrono Trigger clone, which is difficult (at least the time-traveling part) _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |
