okay, so I have this error message in GAME.EXE.
You know, it's the usual, telling me to manually delete playing.tmp to get it running back again.

The problem is I can't delete playing.tmp because of this certain file named soft, that, according to the error message, as too big or may have been removed.

Am I missing sumting here, or am I, as usual, an idiot?

Fucked if I know. Try renaming Playing.tmp to P1 or something, that usually works until you restart and can delete it.

Reboot, try again.

Failing that, go to Start->Run..., type in "cmd" (in windows 2000/XP) or "command" (in windows 9x/me), and press enter. Type "cd %temp%\working.tmp", and press enter. Type "del soft", press enter.

If that doesn't work, don't close the console. Type "dir", press enter. Find the "soft" file in the list, and see if it has an extension. if it does, type "del soft.ext", where ext is the extension. Press enter.

If that doesn't work, tell us.
