View/Modify Bitsets?

Is there any way that bitsets could be viewed and modified via plotscripting?

I ask because I would like to make a custom battle engine that responds to bitsets (resist/immunity/status/etc.). I could have equipment modify tags, but each piece of equipment can modify only one tag, and what if I want to make a Pair of Boots of Haste /and/ Shock Resistance?

I dony know much about the internal workings of the OHR, but could I view this with gmap or something?

An item can modify all the elemental resistances. Just set two tags.

Anyway, no, you cannot modify bitsets outside of what plotscripting commands are already there. And, since we expose as much of the data as we can without causing problems, we're not likely to add any more.

Okay...

So how can I tell what bitsets are active? I don't care to set them so much as simply view them.

Well... You know, I probably could add some "read X bitset" commands. I'll start with items.
