I see what you mean, Dom. Make bigger songs out of a few segments of smaller ones. A lot of music directors like to keep a theme going through a sound track, and the theme part could be it's own piece of the music. Sounds like a lot of work, though. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

And, I highly suspect that we're lifting that limit asap, so you won't have to worry.
Besides, you can't have two songs in one, and jump to the second song via a tag, since tags don't apply until they're run into. In other words, you would have to play through the first song to get to the second one before you could jump to it. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. Last time, in this thread:
* Mike came up with a midi-looping solution!
* But, Allegro sucks in terms of fine-grained control!
* Whatever could be done?!
Well, after nigh 24 hours of continuous work (with a 7 hour sleep session intermixed), I got everything sorted out. I have now implemented everything I wanted to, and even threw in the RPG Maker style of midi looping because I can.
It will be in the next version, which (as rumours may say) might happen in the next 20 days or so. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Good man, Mike. Good man.
I can hardly wait to try this out myself. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

HA! I fooled you! Even though the "advanced" bits (setting tags and variables) is done, they've been removed for the time being. And, I honestly can't offer a reasonable explanation as to why. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.
