The next release of the OHRRPGCE (tirgoviste) is due for release tomorrow (wednesday) evening, but there are still some important bugs remaining
I would like to encourage anyone who has some free time to help us track down these last hard-to-squash bugs. If you have not done so already, please download the latest nightly build and see if you can reproduce any of the unsolved bugs on the Relese Check List, especially the most serious ones, bug 163 and bug 164 |

Because, according to a reliable source of information*, only 16% of OHR users have tried a nightly build, and as such, can't help us test as effectively as we hope. So, by releasing a new version, we get a much broader audience of bug-testers.
In addition, we said 1 month ago that we'd release now, to fix the serious bugs in Serendipity.

Because there are some pretty big bugs in S+, which people are complaining about continuously, so these fixes really need to be released.
The sort of bug we don't want to release with is the sort introduced since the last release, or hampering use of the engine. Actually, I think I just spotted some reintroduced bugs! : O
(Actually, people who are using nightly builds aren't testing it so much as they are escaping bugs in Serendipity+ _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

There will always be bugs. If we waited until there were none, there would never be another release. :-)
Personally, I'd rather not have too many last-minute changes, since they're the ones that tend to end up doing something silly and not being tested. Tirgoviste is a good deal more solid than S+ already. I wouldn't want to see that harmed. |

What animations? Backdrops? They were fixed for S+. It's not my fault if you don't use them right, though. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.
