Hahah! What in the hell happened to the woman in that first picture? "One Night Near Nep"? I think it's a good message.

would you rather your kid not be able to sleep at night because:

A) he's afraid of going to sleep

B) he's playing with himself

The first looks like makeup, the second is a Degas, The third is a real photo of a real murder victim, and the fourth is the Venus de Milo.

All were found on google.

Anyone who's ever been to medical school has cut open someone, and someone right next to me who has confirmed to me that he is in fact correct in saying it isn't that gory, but it could potentially be that gory mabe but quite unlikely.

Hate to burst your bubble, batman, but it's a real photo. The color is off, but I didn't want to look at it long enough to fix it.

Also, I just love how everyone is focusing on the unrealistic nature of the gore rather than THE MESSAGE OF THE ART. It's a tale of hipocracy, not a slasher flick. It begs one fundamental question: Why do we allow X rated violence and X rated language (in theory), but female clothing has to be PG? Even male nudity is perfectly acceptable, but the female torso seems to be the most offense thing imaginable. Let's try a little consistency, and make the world a better place.

By "consistency," you really just mean "allowing what I want." I don't think you're really asking for the Art Forum to ban graphic images like the ones you're satirizing here.

Oh, I could be mistaken. But I'm pretty sure you can look down the archives here and find that you're the first person to push the envelope on blood and guts. I highly doubt you'd be satisfied if Fenrir changed the rules to NSFW those images, too.

A penis is more offensive than a nipple, but not as much as a vagina. You must not have watched many movies, Nep. Furthermore, the irony can all be explained by social past. Did you notice that America was founded by Puritan revolutionaries? Sure, if I went into this long enough I'd simply ruin it for you all, but my point applies.

This isn't about Ego. This is about art. Y'know, that little thing that makes it possible to exist in a modern society and yet is constantly pissed on by those who don't understand it? That contest is trivial, yet you'd all rather project egocentrism onto me, rather than face the real issue. Therefore, I have decided to withdraw my entry.

And yes, Moogle, I mean consistency. That is all I ask of anyone. I expect consistency in friends, in politicians, in the girl who takes my order at Taco Bell. Even someone who is consistently wrong is better than someone who can't decide what he believes. What we have here is a large group of people who refuse to define their own morality.
