Believe it or not, those two are both 17 years old (I drew real life people I know.). If you haven't noticed, the one on the right is my avatar =]

In case you're wondering, I was inspired by Fire Emblem to draw people like that. lol.

and seriously, who looks that happy when standing in front of a demonic looking portal. those girls would scare the shit out of me.

I took your advice(s) and removed the background. However, photobucket still shows the one with the background for some reason... hopefully it shows the reuploaded one soon.

The deformation wasn't intentional. The first picture with the girl on the left has weird legs, and the two in the second do have messed up arms, all these I noticed after I finished the pictures and took a second look (I did them in pen). As for the girl in the middle of the first, she is actually supposed to be tiptoeing on the heels of her feet while lifting the palm of her hands (like the way you put your hands like say, when you're standing and pushing something flat). Now that you mention it, it is a bit ambigious.

You have a very unique style, friend. That I respect. The round, neckless faces are actually quite charming.
The sketch one looks a little more grown up. Happy

Backgrounds are a pain to draw, if you're like me and are more in to drawing characters with neat poses and costumes. But landscape can be fun to draw. Just lookup landscapes, copy some free hand, and you'll get used to it.
