I found Maple story kind of fun, yet insanely addicting. The weak minded will stay addicted, but I managed to escape its grasp due to the fact that I had to kill about 700 more green shrooms (literally) to level up. And no one wanted me in their party quest because I was an archer. Poop. archers get the suckiest armor and skills until level 70. </rant>

It is, lol it's very very boring and take forever to lv when you get to a certain point (all from what I heard) I only played the game once and wasn't impressed at all. I also Used to play Ragnarok online, but now I can't since I have to pay to play~ (have no way of paying ~ use cousins account for FF). Also I found Guild wars not for me~ (my cousin plays that too) I think one online games enough for me. But as for whats a good online game for me may not be good for another, so let the people play their kind of game without bothering them~ ^_^

I couldn't hold interest on Maplestory much longer until around when I leveled up to level 2. My brother and sister play that game hours and hours on end and I think it's ridiculous to spend so much time repetitiously killing 1,000,000 monsters to get to the next level.

Staying on topic, their little characters are so boring. Hardly any differences in styles (although this tends to be the case with pretty much all MMO's I've seen).

Yeah, well I was playing with friends, so I spent about 3 weeks getting to Lv.24. Ha ha ha!

I guess that helped a lot didn't it? My friend is a hardcore gamer and he only played to around that level too before he gave up on it. He prefers playing Rose now, which artfully also has better graphics.

Atleast it wasn't a total waste. I'm actually 'borrowing' a few aspects of Maple Story for my game. It might've been a great game if it were a one-player game with an actual storyline.
