Firstly, I think it would help if you type the way you'd talk (and I hope that you don't talk like that )
Anyhoos, to answer your question, start by:
- Clicking this link to download the newest version of OHRRPGCE ( http://www.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/index.php/Downloads.html )
This new version is made to be WinXP friendly, and uses a much different soundfount from the older versions that required VDMS.
- Secondly, once you go into CUSTOM, create your Game File, and then enter the "Edit Music" menu (it's called something "like" that; I haven't been in the OHRRPGCE in a while)
- In this menu, you should see the option of "Import Song". From here, you find the path folder to where your MIDI file is, then open it.
Now your MIDI is in the game's file. From here, you may choose from the "Text Box" menus or even plotscript out where that song will actually play. If you have questions about that, feel free to ask, but that should be sufficient to get you started. _________________

I'm gonna resurrect that ol' Story Time pirate thread if that's the case.
Anyways, you should be able to import the midi in the "Edit Music" menu. Are you using the DOS version of OHR? I don't think you can import midis that way. |

I'm afraid you're being a little vague for us to be able to help. Can you run through the following test scenario?
- Get a midi file you want to play in your game, and make sure it can be heard in a program outside of the OHR, like winamp.
- Create a test RPG file and import that midi.
- Set that newly imported midi as the title screen music.
- Start the test RPG in game.exe and listen for the midi music.
After you've done all that, report back and let us know which step failed. If the last step failed, you may want to file a bug report. It is also important that you tell us exactly which version of Game.exe you're using, and exactly what operating system you're using.
As for BAM files, they're a deprecated format anyway. If you're creating a new game, use midis as your music instead (although new versions of Game.exe should still be able to play BAMs) |
