I haven't gotten around to implementing this in a game yet, but I figured I'd ask to see if anyone could give me a straight up answer: if I alter a hero's maximum stat, does it affect that stats progression at level up? ie, if the heros current stat is 10, and at next level is 11, and I lower their current stat to 9, then at next level will the stat be 11, or 10? If anyone could give me answer to this question, it would be much appreciated. |

At every level up, the engine calculates what the stat would currently be if it had never been modified (working from level 0 and level 99 values only), and similiarly what it would be next level. The difference is then added to the max stat.
With the exception of HP and MP, the current stat values are then set to the max values. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
