I have started a webcomic! It is called "Welcome to Slum" and revolves around these bored bastards in a mundane city called Slum. I doubt any of you are really anxious to view my crappy webcomic, but if you have the spare time and the mild interest then by all means, click the link in my signature. For now, I have a sample comic for you. This one was meant to air on October 17th. You guys are being treated to a preview. A preview. Hope you get interested.

For those of you who can't tell, Zard is playing a guitar. If you guys like reading mediocre comics, this was tailor-made for you.

The comic's supposed to be pretty stupid, because it's really just kind of a parody/rip-off of another webcomic I love called Running with Scissors. And to the dude... YOU STOLE MY SUPER SPIN ATTACK! NOW YOU MUST SUFFER THROUGH MY SUPER SPIN ATTACK!

In truth, some of the jokes are humorous, although you COULD stand to add some more expressiveness to your characters by having them move around, interact, and so on. One of the reasonsmany people don't like "talking heads" is that the joke has to be carried solely by the dialogue, moreover stilled frames are boring. Unless used to comedic effect or for dramatic pause, you should almost never repeat the same panel multiple times in a comic.

That said, work a little bit on it, you've got something here.

I think Fen's being too nice. If there's anything I get out of the comic, it's the age group you probably fall into. I like stupid humor; as a matter of fact, I'm usually easily amused, but this was just nonsensical to a very not-funny degree. It was just pointless immaturity, which is just not my personal cup of tea.

The_Dude: Please don't spam topics. Making your comments and showing the spin attack once is fine, but we really don't want to see it over and over and over again in a pointless post.

Rimudora: I don't think writing fuck in pig-latin is genius at all. In my opinion, genius comes when intellect and maturity meet creativity, and this demonstrates none of the above.
