Yo people, I have a great new game I'm working on, it's...
FINAL FANTASY XII!
Yeah, I got the game on PS2 and it kicks ass, so I'm making an OHR version of it, I made most of the scripts already and 14 maps are complete already! I'm making it exactly like the PS2 version, read more about it on my website...
Also, I will need some help with the enemies, I made a couple (cactite, cactoid, malboro, Guard...) but there's exactly 389 enemies in FFXII and I need help doing some (not all O_o) I'll probably do like 100 or so...
lol
Also, I need a little sprite help, I'll add details later...
Feel free to ask questions.

While I think it would be much more interesting if you just made your own story, I have to see how you've planned to do the battle system. _________________ Calehay |

Well uh... Somebody is remaking Dragon Warrior I, and well, uh.. This will only be.. slightly more ambitious?
I just saw your website. The design is not bad, at least. I notice you plan on making the killer sidescrolling OHR app. Now that is definately a bold claim to make. Making a Sonic RPG actually sounds like a reasonable project, especially since you have art to go with it.
EDIT: Since others have already bashed you, I will go ahead and say that a Sonic RPG is "reasonable" on technical grounds. How good it will be is a different story.
EDIT: I didn't notice the site was flash! That brings website design credibility to ZERO out of ZERO.
EDIT 3: This guy is a joke account. Look at this under "Guilds of Chaos"
Quote: | Also, the first OHR game that will have Expansion packs!!!
Here's a list of all the GW projects:
Guild Of Choas Silvermoon
Guild Of Choas Goldensun :: Expansion Pack
Guild Of Choas II
Guild Of Choas II: Evolution :: Expansion Pack
Guild Of Choas II: Rage of the Undead :: Expansion Pack
Guild Of Choas Online
Guild Of Choas Online Quest Add-on
Guild Of Choas III
Guild Of Choas III: Rise of Evil
Guild Of Choas Ultimate Battle |

I think the limit is Final Fantasy 4. I could be wrong. |

ok, so, the Guild of Chaos thing is just an idea I had by playing Maple Story and dungeon Seige II too much... >.<
Also, the online thing, well, it was kindof like a "multiplayer" script Idea I had and I was working with a friend of mine who's in computer science to figure out a way to make the multiplayer script online one way or anther... didn't work out... I did mention it in the site, I wrote that the online version wasn't for sure, just a project.
and about the FFXII, I'm not going to make it with the same FFXII fighting engine, just the regular old OHRRPGCE engine and it will feature scripted cutscenes, not "incredible cinematics" (it's the OHRRPGCE, duh!)
One last thing, most of the games you saw and name "fan games" were games I actually started before but never actually finished, I just decided to revive them. I have my own games (Which aren't "fan games") in mind that I also work on once in a while, like the "Mr.Dude" series which I used to work on with my bro... I should actually think about uploading the updated version, maybe later...
all I'm asking is if someone would mind helping with some Enemy graphis and probably walkabouts, that's all...
PS: WTF? A "joke account"? _________________ http://www.madsoftgames.net/

I say, damn near anything is possible if you try hard enough, but sometimes trying hard just isn't reasonable. And I disagree with Newbie, I think the OHR could totally handle a game like FF5. FF6, no. But FF5, yes.
Edit: I would like to help with some of the graphics, but sadly I do not own a FFXII. Besides, I'm also kind of hung up with my own game. |

Well, you can do FF5, but there's some tweaking involved to get job points to work (I would use expendable "JP" items with a special script that calls a menu to do the work), but you can probably pull off FF4 without changing much gameplay at all (just some minor things). |

Ah, I forgot about the Job system. Hmm, maybe FF5 wouldn't be as easy as I presumed... But it could still be done. |

So it's nothing like FF12 at all then is it? Aside from a stolen story and characters. |
basicly, it's the same story, enemies, characters, maps, etc.. just not the same fighting system and yes, there will be the LP (license points) to equip stuff (I made the script already, it's not that hard...)
