Does anyone out there know a way to disable/enable the order menu using scripting?

There is not yet a way to change the default menu. There is going to be a way to edit the menu from within custom.exe in some future update, but I'm not aware of whether this will be possible with scripting as well.

If you want, I can explain you how to disable the whole menu. I mean by this preventing the player to pop the menu up as he presses esc.

Here is also an interesting article

Good luck and let me know if you are interested!

If you just want to keep the order of your heroes consistent, then you could just use the simple little sequence of commands similar to:
Code:
swap by position (0, find hero (0))

You would use this script as an each-step script, so with each step you take, the hero with an ID of 0 is forced to be at the front of the line.
