As you may have pieced together from the title, I am leaving. Yes, leaving. This site has been plenty fun for the almost-a-year I've been here, but I've grown tired of it. This site is inactive, the users are always bickering, this isn't really my favorite internet forum. I'm not going to leave behind a long goodbye letter, just this: Stay cool, and don't let this website go to hell.
G'bye. |

We've grown tired of you too, except you haven't been any fun over the past year at all. Not in the slightest.
Don't bother replying. Just get out >:( |

As usual, it is best not to listen to Rimudora. |

Notice, his last post was right here. The note, the number of posts he has made.
I think he saw 800 coming, so he decided to leave it at 800! _________________ I drew my Icon!

That's a safe bet. Most people "leave" at some post milestone, so it's expected. Oh, and welcome to CP. |

Screw 800 posts. I'm going to leave when I finish 800 games. |

Welcome? You welcoming me? I have been a member for almost a year...
I will leave when I play a game from OHR that sticks a sword through the screen at me. _________________ I drew my Icon!

Oh really now.
Re Valigarmander: I agree, two months tops. The only members who have managed to stay away after making farewell posts have actually made games. _________________

Really? That is as long as it has been? Dang. It feels like almost a year...
Hey Fenrir-Lunaris! Whatever happend to this?

I've run into a problem, and was hoping you l33t masters of plotscripting could help me. Here's what I want to do...
I'm trying to create a system that allows for unlimited level progression (Think FF2, NOT U.S.A. FF2). I'll be using the feature that adds in stat bonuses for equipped weapons and armor to do this. I want it so that at Level 10 (or higher), the Hero's level is reset to 1, while retaining the previous stats that they had and all spells they had learned. Understandably this would be a very complex script to figure out, but my question is this: Is such a script possible?
I'll also be using Set Max stat to keep HP from exceeding 9999, and the rest of the stats from going over 999. I already know how to do that. If "Level" is defined as a stat, then I can easily do this.
Thank you for your time. |

The plotscripting issue was resolved through me working around my limitations, learning better plotscripting, and the OHR gaining a "Statistic Cap" in some of the recent updates. The fact that post refers to TSSE, and that it contains references to Rezokuken still existing is a bit of a moot point. I'm curious why you decided to bring this up in a discussion about Valigarmander leaving, when this best be resolved through PM, or a new forum topic at worst? At any rate, this thread has apparently served its purpose. |

Three months. That's a fourth of a year. We have tolerated Valigarmander for ten months. Ten months feels like a year. _________________

So he made 800 posts, and no games...?
And Chaotix joined Oct 2006? I used to feel like a newbie to the community when I joined (1999), because there were people who had been in it for 2 years already. Now I'm not sure anyone is left in the community who has been here longer than me (aside from James Paige). Oh, wait; Fyrewulff. _________________ Tower Defense Game |
