I hesitate to put deadlines on such things, seeing as this kind of exercise is always beneficial.

But in order to be considered for the contest, have the piece(s) submitted by this Saturday night, the 7th.

Yep, already done.
This is for PICTURE #2.
The interpretation is as follows.
One lover looking at an old picture from his/her wedding day, in remembrance of the trgic act ensuing. Nothing close to original, BUT, its a music based on the picture. Not too bad for some 5 or 10 minutes of work while doing homeworks I might add, turned out better than I expected. Keep these goodie challenges coming up, it gives me inspiration Big grin

But maybe you can comment on my entry nonetheless? I was trying to capture the picture's essence through the eyes of a wounded lover... Do you think I'm coming anywhere close?

Well done, no doubt. The timpanis and choir suggest to me that "on the verge of revenge" sort of feeling. In other words, the song feels more "present" than it is about the past. Not a bad thing, just analyzing.

The deadline is tonight, but if anyone speaks up late at night and says they've got something in the works, I won't be crabby about submissions turned in tomorrow.

Next time I do one of these, I will be nagging every one of you musicians until I get results!
