Since I completely missed the point, would it be okay to withdraw the entry from the contest and then touch it up for the next time we have a Halloween contest? _________________ http://www.castleparadox.com/gamelist-display.php?game=750 Bloodlust Demo 1.00

Unless whoever's hosting the Halloween contest this year says otherwise, I don't see why not. Besides, RMZ has been working on HQ3 for over a year or two now. |

Or you could keep it in this contest, and by some offchance, win the $50 Grand Prize.
I don't really see the point in withdrawing your entry. |

I give all my votes to Onlyoneinall's entry, because failure at being terrible is a sort of triumph! :) |

Eyes, Super Trivia - I couldn't get these to work to save my life.
SCORE: default
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: ???
Dance Dance Armageddon - This is nothing more than a premature release of what looks like it's going to be a great game. Completely un-terrible.
SCORE: 1
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: Apparently none
Striptease Typing Tutor - This artist isn't satisfied with his work.
SCORE: 3
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: Teaches burgeoning typists how to utter expletives and objectify women while learning to type
Interpreting Frost: Mending Wall - It isn't so much of a game as a slideshow.
SCORE: 1
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: I got to read Robert Frost
Mazes of Persistance - Even more Atariffic than Striptease!
SCORE: 4
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: It's supposed to teach persistence, but I learned humility as I pushed the ESC button and didn't look back
OHR SACHEN MULTIPACK - ...Huh?
SCORE: 1
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: None
SCHBW - This game screws the prom queen!
SCORE: 5
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: How to cure colds, fevers, and headaches; how to match colors; how to respect your superiors, use the right tools for the right job, and prevent suicide bomb attacks _________________ Play Horrible Fantasy NOW! |

This is not a failure to teach, but a failure to learn! |

Thank you for getting this right. A lot of people didn't catch that there was an "edutainment" aspect to the game. ("Prevent suicide bomb attacks" wasn't part of the intended curriculum, but we'll throw that in as a side benefit.) _________________

what do you mean you couldn't get this to work? did you play it with the included executable file? The game won't work on older versions of ohr because it uses functions that are only available in the latest WIP release of ohr.
Just for the record, whats the highest score anyone got on Super trivia here? _________________ Try my OHR exporter/importer.

As far as I know, Uncy got 640.

*Ahem* DDA was originally designed to teach the little children radical dance moves through repetitive key-pushing tactics. However, I got lazy and made the game so that it teaches the little children radical dance moves through pushing the space-bar and reading text.
If you were unable to learn any radical dance moves, I can't don't want to take responsibility for that. |

640 is an unattainable score in Super Trivia. I got 25 or so, myself. (My SCHBW high score, on the other hand, is around 700.) _________________

YSoft: I played it with the included executable...no results. Maybe it's my computer.
Twin: It looked like a different battle design, with the combatants looking more like they're killing each other with well-coreographed fighting manoevres than dancing. I love this game (that's why it gets such a low score) but I fail to see how it is either terrible or educational...disappointing, maybe, because of the camera impasse, but not terrible. _________________ Play Horrible Fantasy NOW! |
