Nice! I have wanted to try making recordings of custom for some time, i just haven't had a chance to figure it out.
Such movies could be *very* useful for the 'HOWTO' |

Oy. Since the frame-rate counter never showed up, I just assumed that Fraps didn't like the OHR.
[edit] After a few tests, I've found that my Fraps does, in fact, hate the OHR. I've even downloaded the newest version of Fraps (A year old, but still more updated than my copy) and it still refuses to record anything ohr-related.
Could I possibly get some info on the Fraps settings that you're using and possibly the version of OHR being recorded? :3

Actually, it seems there is an interest in the OHR, but most of the interested remain as lurkers. I frequently see 20 guests at a time, looking into various forums. However, there's always that chance that they are, in fact, retarded bots that don't know how to log in. |

Bots, spiders, etc. probably account for most of those, yes. I suppose it's also likely that there are a good number of lurkers that have nothing to post about. _________________

I'm not 100% on the inner workings of phpBB, but I think it realizes that you're one person (your computer logs a single session ID). _________________

That actually depends on your browser settings. If your URL has &sid=############ in it, then phpBB might see you as two separate users if the session ids in both windows don't match. However, if you have cookies enabled, it matches properly.
The current influx (about 20 users online right now) is due to GoogleBot, the MSN Bot, and the Yahoo Bot. _________________

Why make a new thread for the same idea?
Does RPG toolkit link to us? We've both been aorund for a long time and as long as I can remember, but do they link to us? I think as a first step tword the webring superstructure RPG toolkit is a worthy and close to home choice. _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

If Toolkitzone has bothered to include links to alternative game-makers, they've done a good job of hiding it.
Not but five minutes ago, I've set up a Cause to revive the Hamster Republic/Castle Paradox community on the FaceBook chain.
Most causes featured on Face Book are supposed to generate money for whatever cause, but this one's really nothing more than an advertisement which, I hope, will attract a few bored teens. |

Thumbs up Moog. Facebook is the new myspace (want it aorund before myspace though?)
If toolkit doesn't link to us there's no reason we should link to them. _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

Uh, other than to be the bigger men?
If someone's dissatisfied with the system, we shouldn't have to force them to stay.
And since when am I Moogs?

uh...its the avatar I got it twisted up with Moogles (wich is most likly compeleltly different)
I dont think its being bigger people (we have girls here too) when we link to other sites that dont at least link back to us. If someone dosn't like OHR all they have to do is stop using the program. Encouraging people to go to another site that dosen't even acknowledge our existance seems like backward thinking. I could see if they linked to us and we linked them as worthy alternatives, but otherwise it just seems stupid. _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

Or how about...
Battleblaze wrote: | we linked them as worthy alternatives |
...And leave it at that? Forced link exchanges are even backwarder thinking, especially since it seems Toolkit doesn't even have outside links, if what TwinHamster said is true. |
