Wapam Hope this hurts.

i tried to fad the screen and go to a door but it doesnt work
i put
script, fadeout,begin
suspend player
fade screen out (63,63,63)
show value(1)
wait(10)
fade screen in
show text box (24)
wait for text box
show text box (25)
wait for text box
show text box (26)
wait for text box
show text box (27)
wait for text box
resume player
end
when i do it the screen keeps on fading in and out and it wont stop. what do i do? |

I don't see anything there that has anything to do with going to a door, so I don't know what you mean about that. On the other hand, there's nothing there that should make the screen fade in and out, unless those text boxes are all attached to scripts. Make sure that this is not the case, and test again. o..k... Wapam,make sure you give us a THOROUGH explanation of whats wrong next time....that way we can help you.
now...
are you saying you want the screen to gradually fade out,whilst the hero is walking towards a door?
Or are you wanting it to fade out AFTER he touches the door?
Is the script being activated by a text box,or an NPC?
And,seriously,if you want help,you need to explain in more detail,what is wrong...we can't fix what we don't know! |
