This argument is going by you saying it's insulting either way. You can call it an insult if you want, but I never said "you sound like a fag" or "YOU'RE A WOMAN??? YOU SOUND LIKE A MAN YOU FREAK". All I said is what I thought based on what I heard. What's wrong with talking the way a gay or feminine man might? If anything, it seems you're interpreting it as saying someone speaks that way is an insult because they don't speak like a manly man. I talk in an effeminate way, and I wouldn't be insulted if someone said so.

By that logic, nothing should be insulting. Not that I disagree: a statement is either true or false, and there's no sense in getting insulted by a true statement and even less sense in getting insulted by a false one. But that's a simplification.

It's effeminate voice to you, Mr. 357th heir! And you're clearly missing the talent, because he'd do a great UNIDENTIFIED CHALLENGER #3!
As for NP auditioning for a role, I think he was joking when he said he was doing Bena's voice (to make fun of Bena).

You can extend "What's wrong with X?" to any (true) insult X, at which point the word "insult" becomes meaningless.
