With the fix of the levelMP bug, I've finally been able to put together a workable demo of my new game, Tales of the New World II. Check it out on the gamelist here:

The main focus for this demo was the incorporation of individual item menues for each hero. But I tried to spend a fair bit of time on the gameplay as well. A review would be stupendous, but any comments in general are welcome here in this thread. _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

Real quick...
I noticed a typo in the opening dialogue, the second or third text box...
"??? (B):
Nothing! I did nothing, but I was discovered. I managed to escape but now Astelev knows that it is being watched. Worse still, they were already discussing asking the wizards in Ramabrooke for help..."
Also an awkward line in a later text box...
"Avin: Apparently this kid is the real thing. He whizzed through all of the general classes especially the classes on magic. I haven't had him yet, or even seen him I'm pretty sure." _________________ My name is...

Maybe I'm just a grammatical dunce, but I don't see a problem with the first thing you point out. The construction "were already considering" seems okay (as in, 'they were considering something'), and then the act of asking is what they were considering, so the phrase "were already considering asking" seems okay to me.
I agree, upon second read, that the other thing there does sound pretty awkward, and I'll be trying to think of a way to word it better. Thanks for your suggestions! I hope you enjoy playing what's there. _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

There's nothing wrong with the first one. The second one is pretty awkward. _________________

Oops, heh, I just reread it and it makes perfect sense. I thought you were just being repetitive. I must've been pretty tired at the time. Although it does read in a slightly confusing way (at least to me) having two gerunds right next to each other. _________________ My name is...

This is one of my favorite OHR games, right next to its predecessor. I'm assuming there's no chance of an update anytime soon  _________________ "I didn't start the flame war;
