It's just you. You tend to be careless in wizard mode, so it's easy to break down into fisticuffs against a pit demon who'll spawn friends faster than you can kill him. This is a brilliant example of how challenge can alter play style. _________________

My favorite save system was the one used in the first RPG I ever played: Dragon Warrior I & II for the Game Boy.
You could save permanently by talking to a king(or some priests). This would be a standard save-point.
But if you have to do something else, you can make a temporary "field log" which saves your stats, items, and whatever, but doesn't save your exact position(only what room you're in, what level of the dungeon, etc). _________________ "I didn't start the flame war;
