|
|
Welcome to the nomination period of the 2008 OHRMA’s! This period will last from Monday, August 4, until Monday, August 11. During this time you may nominate for the following categories:
Category I – Best Song(s)
-Must be original and made for use in an OHR game (No Aaron Walz!)
-You can nominate your own songs, as long as they were made to use in
the OHR
-Up to three nominations per person
Category 2 – Best Soundtrack(s)
-You can only nominate soundtracks of OHR games
-Soundtrack can consist of ripped or original music
-You can nominate your own game
-Up to three nominations per person
Category 3 – Best Composer
-You can nominate yourself (if you are a composer of original OHR music)
-One nomination per person
Category 4 – Best Vocal Performance
-Must be original and made for use in an OHR game (No Aaron Walz!)
-You can nominate your own songs, as long as they were made to use in
the OHR
-Up to three nominations per person
General rules:
-After you’ve made your nominations, you may not change them. The only instance where a change in nomination may occur is if a nominee breaks award rules or is deemed unoriginal. In this case that person may choose a replacement nominee.
-You should submit as much information with your nominations as possible. For example, a nomination such as:
That song that sometimes plays in that game
…is not accepted and should be more like:
Best song
Normal Battle Music – Vikings of Midgard – Composed by Moogle1
- If you are nominating songs, please submit the links to them if at all possible. If you need a host for them, then send them to mballsub@gmail.com and I will put them up for you.
-If you are submitting a song and do not know the exact name of it, just make up a name. It isn't a huge deal whether or not it is the proper name.
-Nominations should be made in this thread only. I will update this thread daily with the latest nominations. During this time, I will also add links to nominee’s respective song(s) or game(s) for reference (if not given)
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know! There is a sample list of games, songs, and composers below that might strike some interest if you are having a hard time deciding on nominees.

I'm throwing mah hat into the ring. Add mah name to the list of composers, plz.
Also, add Setu. I assume he is only in your example and not in the actual nomination yet. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Updated.
Mikey T's theme song has already been nominated, but I do appreciate the interest.
This is going to be really lame if more people do not participate. I know there are tunes, soundtracks, and composers in this community that folks appreciate, so why not take the time to nominate them for something that hasn't been done before? _________________ MOCBJ Software - My Games

I probably screwed everyone (including myself) by nominating Setu. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Hmm. Although I am disappointed, I understand the decision. This gives me more time to work on my game, which now has a name and I am announcing it here. It will be called Seed of Natrah. It will feature an all original OST of my music. REJOICE!
Oh, by the way, after visiting the sound room in OHR House 1, I've learned that Crickets Chirping was "composed" by the author of OHR House himself.
