Is there a way to do it?
I've tried playing around with the User-Interface color for it, but I'm apparently not allowed to tell the outline to be invisible. |

You can hack the engine. I think TMC did that on one of his games.
Short of that... _________________

There is no easy way to do that.
If you just want it for textboxes or menus, then adding that feature to the engine is not terribly difficult. If you want it everywhere, that gets much more complicated. |

All right, so I guess it wouldn't be as easy as I'd hoped.
Maybe I can play around with the font until the outline and text look like legitimate characters.
[Edit] Yeah, two seconds of trying and it's not looking like I'll be getting it anytime soon. |

James must have meant to say "not terribly difficult"
Strings can also set to not use an outline, which makes them useful for displaying small monotone graphics on screen. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

um just an idea that I've not tested myself yet but, why not just make a really small boarder thats the same colour as the text boxes that just goes over the outline? |

He's talking about the outline around the text itself, not the textbox.
CURSE OF VAMPIRE sidestepped this by always having black backgrounds on the textboxes. Not aesthetically optimal, but it works. _________________
