I'll be posting there as a guest editor this week and will mainly be posting about old Ohrrpce games, to show those guys that indie gaming doesn't begin with Cave Story. My entry on Wandering Hamster is up.

For those of you who have never heard of that site, it's probably the most widely read blog / community specifically dedicated to independent gaming. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

I'm pretty sure the new versions run in Windowed mode by default.
Also, hooray for exposure! |

Perhaps they run by window on default, but Wandering Hamster itself doesn't when I downloaded it, causing it to not work for me. Windowed versions of games work fine for me, full screen crashes. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

I actually desperately need to update that windows installer to the latest engine version. I think Wandering Hamster is still bundled with something insanely old and crufty :( |

Well done, Rinku!
I did find one spelling error. Nothing huge or credibility killing, though. I read the whole article, so you did well. I thought autism was supposed to increase focus, not reduce it? I.e., the opposite of ADD?
Anyway, where is the typo? I can edit it to fix it if you point it out :D _________________ Tower Defense Game |

Meh. I confuse the two. Not a big deal, since I live with it.
"The game is a humorous, surrealist RPG, much like the Mother series (although probably not as good, but it does have a charm of its own). You play a Hamster and meet a variety of strange characters as you solve problems which I believe are created by an evil potted cactus (although I don’t know for sure, because the game isn’t finished yet). My view of this game might be affected by nostalgia (I learned how to create games largely be editing this game in the Ohrrpgce engine), so judge its quality for yourself. I do think it has some genuinely hilarious writing though."
I think you meant "by". I can see how that typo was made. You were talking about what the OHR was and that be must have accidentally broken out. _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

Wonder how you confuse the two if you live with it. |

As long as they see our good side. And our better games...Please god no one even think Mangus..first year...I don't think anybody but us could bear looking at Arfenhouse, much less loving it... _________________ Indy OHR! and National OHR Month Contest going on now!

I plan to make a list of recommended OHR games tomorrow, and will indeed include Arfenhouse! _________________ Tower Defense Game |

I would add Darkmoor Dungeon in one of the sets. It would be a "hardcore" game for those looking for a challenge. _________________
