Isn't the fact that we're spending this much effort talking about what someone else does with their spare time sort of proof that we are acting a little uptight? |
After four replies regarding the topic, I believe that now we are being uptight about it. |

Well, Famicom Freak is apparently the only person in the world who has a copy of Heart of Riva. I've sent him a private message asking him to upload the game, but the problem is that he hasn't posted a message since April, and could have forgotten about the forum entirely.
If anyone has his email address, could you drop him a line, and let him know that a few people would like to play Heart of Riva? He's probably the last hope for this game.
I've spent some time on google (as a couple others have) and nothing. I'll trying searching for "heartofriva.rpg" "hor.rpg" and other variants later today.
Also, I think my family's old old computer might have the file somewhere on the HDD, but probably not, I'll have to go by my parent's house and hook up the ancient Pentium 2. I put the game on a floppy years ago as well, I can try searching through them (yea, I put a floppy drive on my current computer because I'm a nerd), if I can find them. But I probably wiped the floppy to use it to transfer other games.
Any other ideas?
EDIT: I did some more searching, this time using yahoo instead of google (they have different search algorithms) and Famicom Freak's homepage popped up, so I found his email, emailed him, and he should be getting the game online soon.
Also, I emailed the creators AKNeutron and AKElectron, but their email addresses don't exist anymore. _________________ ---

To save you some time, filenames weren't allowed to be longer than 8+3, so "heartofriva.rpg" is impossible. I want to say the file was called "ak3" anyway, but I have no idea where I'm pulling that from.
Does anyone remember the names of the other two AK games? _________________

I want to say Atomic Knights: Apocalypse and Atomic Knights were the other 2 games. Thanks for the AK3.rpg tip, we'll see what turns up.
EDIT: Nope, nothing for ak3.rpg Oh well, no biggie. FamicomFreak has to locate the disk, no email yet, he's probably at work or something. _________________ ---

Hey it's me FamicomFreak. I had some free time before I head to a Halloween party to find the Riva Lite game! I'm sending it to the guy so it can be uploaded to the website. The farthest I have gone is to the octopus battle which is a pain in the ass! Anyways hope you guys can enjoy this game. |

Yes, he sent it to me over the weekend I was out of town. I should be able to upload the game tonight, though I do not know the way. I've gotten to the octopus before, but never past it. _________________ ---

Yeah you gotta level up a little more to be able to beat the octopus. |

Anyone interested in broadcasting their playthrough on Mogulus? With so many of us interested in it we could make a little community outing. _________________ Allow me to preemptively disclose that I probably hate the person posting below, including myself. |

I should be more mysterious about my games, then everyone wants to play them. xD _________________ Snippy:
