Sorry if i have other peoples BAMs in there, but if you put em for download people are going to get them. Secondly, some of the BAMs have been converted from midis i got from vgmusic.com, if they sound the same as yours its just a co-incidence that there the same midis. Its common sense, if you want YOUR BAMs to feature in only YOUR games, then don't put the BAMs for download. Simple!
I hope this clears up a thew things as i have had 2 or 3 complaints about it... |

If you mean putting the BAMs for download, does that include taking BAMs from non-passworded/old games? (Old games don't check for a password) If so, um, you might want to revise your BAMs collection, as some of that music might be original. _________________

I don't think it's possible to get BAM music out of games. I never saw an export for it. Then again, maybe there's some of that OHR hacking like when you copy a map... _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

Drag the .rpg file onto unlump.exe, put in a password (if you have to), and rename the .1, .2, .3 files to .bam files. Ta-da! _________________

You need to ask users if you can take their music. This is irresponsible. I sure hope for your sake you haven't picked up some of my music in your little journey, or there'll be hell to pay.
*blinks*
Plus, it might be better just to put Midi, becuse then I could listen to it. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

That kind of thinking can get you into a lot of trouble. _________________

Yes; just because something is available on the internet doesn't mean it is
1. Free
2. Legal
So please reconsider. I'll have you know that most OHR musicians I've known aren't to picky on sharing their BAMS if asked, but if you don't ask they'll get pissed (like me!)
So pleas be responsible and ask. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

If it's downloadable it may mean they want you to have it. It doesn't mean they want you to redistribute it as you wish without giving any credit whatsoever to them in specific. I mean, fir example, James let's you download custom.exe, but he doesn't want you to re-distribute it (even with credit to him) yourself (although you can with game.exe). _________________ Preserve OHR history! You put many bams in there, including mine, but it's okay. I don't mine. It's not like I care how much times people download my bam collection. I'm not in any contest. I don't care. |
