Excellent... you've really worked out a good system for this. But about making an alliance, I think you already posted something on one called the Terra Alliance (unless that's part of the story you're changing).

And, uh... if anyone else happens upon this post, SIGN UP OR BE DAMNED. There's no way (well, very little chance) that just me, Ssalamanderr, and Gizmog1 are going to be able to have a good, challenging RPG, unless basically everyone we fight is an (?) (I want to say NPC, but that sounds video gamish) and that gets old REAL fast.

EDIT: Um... sign up or be damned, please?

Well, there were only three people who seemed interested, so I didn't figure to continue. Guess I'd better get working then, if there's still some interest in it.

Oh. I thought you were just still working on the story, otherwise I would've posted. Make an actual sign-up thread and you'll probably get more people... people have seen this thread before so some of them probably think we're still just discussing the rules for the RPG. If they see they can sign-up, some of the probably will. At least, probably...

Hell, I don't know if I want to work on this. I've kinda lost interest in it, with the problems with the forum not taking long posts, and certain other things have popped up that require more attention right now. I guess I'll decide whether or not to cancel, and post either a sign up thread, or edit this post.

I am all for an rpg but not on this board, maybe on a new section.

Has anyone heard of free form rpg? All one needs is a defined world and one does not require such burdens as stats. God-moding and such would still exist with those less inclined toward intelligent action, but they do not seek roleplay as much as inflating their egos. I would suggest that all such beings seeking ego inflation play diablo 2 and cheat. The same crime is committed, but one would not blight the joy of decent role play in the process.

I shall join... if sounds quite fun... I was in one awhile ago... I just have a single qualm! PLEASE, everyone, if your going to describe your character, be as descriptive as possible! I hate how in the other RPG places I went too someone would just say: "(NAME) walks in a sits down." It drives me completely insane... yeah, anyways... I'm in Big grin

All I know at the moment is the name and a tiny few attributes to the mech... It is called the furnace blaster, and it is a heavey mech, with engine coolers, and flame throwers (to heat the engines of other mechs, but only if I can get behind the opposing mech first.) Also its captain, captain Leroy Leo, has fire powers of his own, and fire comes out of his eyes! OOOOOO! AAAAAAAAAAAA!

That is all I know at the moment. Just thought Id let you know I was still involved Big grin
