Races are good, btw. |
Kind of like the space race. But with RPGs so it's much cooler (or is it less cool?).

Yeah, thank you. That could save SO much time. And help avoid a lot of potential inconsistencies/errors.

I think the attack editor is one of the most untapped resources in the engine. A LOT has been done innovations-wise with plotscripting but not many games try to do anything new with their battle systems.
Not unsurprisingly, Moogle1 has always seemed to be on the forefront of both. Mystic Sky was the first game that got me thinking about what the editor can do that it wasn't meant to do.
But there's so much that's been added to the editor that hasn't been touched yet. It's outrageous. _________________ My name is...

Time out Moogle, I'm pretty sure I'm the one who requested the idea of duplicating settings from one 'record' to another!
Actually, I just wanted to post and add that this sounds like an interesting system (I've never played any MMO's, unless it means something I don't think it does).
The battle engine has lots of weird quirks to it that don't get used much. The target-prerference based on distance is an interesting twist that I've tried to think about using in my game, but I haven't come up with anything... _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:
