If memory serves me right, if an attack is delayed by some number of ticks and the player opens a menu, the attack will be completed once the delay is done no matter what.
But, I don't think enemies can actively begin an attack while a menu's open. Right? _________________

Even setting attacks to have no delay this still happens. _________________

I agree with all of these points, and I can attest from watching a live tester who had never used the OHR before play my game that the battle system moves WAY TOO FAST for most ordinary human beings. I think that having this feature work a little better would significantly improve the engine. |

Oh yeah. I got a friend of mine (who is ordinarily pretty good at RPGs, like the Mario & Luigi series) to try Vikings of Midgard about a year ago.
He got his whole squad of four killed by the first enemy, a Drake.
Now the sheer mention of "Vikings" gets him all riled up. _________________

Although this is different from '' . bug_title('729') . '', I suspect that the root cause is the same. I think when I have implemented the fix described in '' . bug_title('804') . '' then the problem demonstrated in this screen shot will also be resolved. |

The new bitset seems to have solved this problem as far as I know! Thanks a bunch, James!
I'll keep on a lookout, still. _________________
