Ok so I asked earlier but got no answer (yet)

If I add 5 heroes to the party the max in battle number is 4. Would the player go to the menu and select Team and the select 4 heroes to take into battle. And if thats the case how do I make it so the heroes can go "tag team" and swap places in battle with benched heroes?

When your party is full, and additional heroes get added to the reserve. The reserve is available from the "Team" menu.

If you want the player to be able to switch team members at any time, then you should leave "Team" in the main menu.

If you only want players to be able to switch team members at certain points in the game, it is easiest to make Shops that have the "Team" menu item turned on, and then attach these to NPCs wherever you want to allow team switching (save points, taverns, whatever)

No in-battle tag-teaming, I'm afraid. At least, no remotely reasonable way of doing it with the standard OHR battle system.
