Representative Democracies only work if people actually participate! So go out and participate already! |

I'm not able to vote since I'm living over 1000 miles from my district (which is quite literally about 90% Republican anyway so votes make very little impact one way or the other), but it saddens me to know that the Tea Party has so much sway over people in our country. Well, I suppose the USA's gotten through worse. |

Heh, I would have never have figured out what Fenrir's post was about without Moogle's and JSH's replies. I heard about Proposition 19 but did not realise there was also an election. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

I vote no for death penalty. Criminals should instead be given a computer with the OHRRPGCE installed and put their emotions into an RPG. _________________ Snippy:

I voted HARD!
I even googled the Judicial candidates (which was still pointless. I don't know why California even bothers having Judges on the ballots)
Yet another round of democracy, yet another subtle shifting of the sands.
For the record, I voted for Prop 19, even though I have never smoked a puff in my life, and don't plan to even when it gets legalized (It didn't today, but it will eventually) |

Yeah, in NC the vast majority of judicial candidates didn't even have an opponent. I also received a voter's guide in the mail regarding them, but they all just said they were fair and impartial...
I left those slots blank. |
