Whoa, FEZ looks awesome. But the rotation-actually-teleports-you-to-different-world (which is how I rationalise it -- I don't think it qualifies as non-Euclidean) "cheat" they've employed, and lack of actual depth in the perspective, is fairly nauseating. They've opted to use the rotation for a puzzle element rather than do 3D jumping (which I think most would agree would be evil, unless depth is very well indicated). For a decade I've dreamed about creating a sidescroller with view rotation similar to this, and this certainly proves that the result can look beautiful, but I wouldn't want to use it for a gameplay gimmick. I'm probably unaware of a stack of games out there already doing it.
