				Hi gang, I have NEVER successfully made up a plotscript. Amidst compiling problems, I gave up years ago and have been building the story sequences of my games as cleverly as possible over and around plotscripting.
 
 
HOWEVER... one thing that I figure is simple enough even for me to figure out, and something that I really need for my game, is a Game Over script.
 
 
All I want to do is show a backdrop, play some music, and that's it. But the OHR engine won't let me. I spent an hour FINALLY figuring out how to actually compile the script, and HamsterSpeak even says it compiles successfully; however, when I try to import it into my game, it says 0 scripts imported.
 
 
Please help. All I want is this stupid plotscript. I can live without awesome cutscenes and whatnot, but I really just want a Game Over screen. Here's my script:

				Hello! You want "plotscript", not "script"
 
 
 	  | Code: | 	 		  | plotscript, gamedeath, begin | 	  
 
 
"script" is only used for scripts that are only called from other scripts (or for old-style scripts)
 
 
the "plotscript" keyword creates a new-style plotscript that you will be able to attach to plotscript triggers in your game |

By the way, since Zenzizenzic you can compile and import in one step from the Script Management menu. Is there some documentation/wiki pages that need updating? _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

				Thank you James! I knew it had to be something small and stupid. It finally works!
 
 
And TMC, what I meant when I said "compile" was 'import successfully.' It still said it had errors and everything. I finally got it to work when I realized I had to use the "include" commands. But yeah, I used the "Compile/Import" command.
