just out of curiosity, i went to the game list to check what w:p1's download count is (everyone does it once in a while, right?) when i noticed something. there's one review for w:p1 which has the score of A- but the listed average grade is C-.
now, i may be no math genius...
... though i did take calculus in hs... ah, too bad my math skill's atrophied...
... but one review of A- cannot equal an average grade of C-. A- divided by 1 is still A-.
or am i missing something? _________________ LJ.Art

What game are you talking about? Is that an abbreviation? _________________ Calehay |

I think that your game was one of the games reviewed during my poorly programmed average review function which has long since been fixed. Instead of going through and trying to find all the games who's average review was skewed by this glitch (it would have 1 more review than there should be...thereby dividing your 12 (A-) by 2 instead of 1...giving you a 6 (C-) ), the previous Average Grade is completely ignored when calculating the new grade, so as people started reviewing, the problem games would disappear.
I just fixed w:p1 (Wingedmene: Part One) manually.

thanks, im. i don't think it was actually your glitch, because when the review was first written, the average score was A-, and for a short while w:p1 was #5 on the top average scores list. when it vanished from the top 5, i just assumed it was pushed out by games with more reviews and/or titles starting with letters preceeding "w". but if i remember correctly, even on the times i would skim through the game list -looking for games no one reviewed- the score was still A-. i could be wrong. _________________ LJ.Art
