Hello again after a long time! I would like to improve my free basic knowledge (especially the functions used for custom.exe) and make my own version of custom.exe.
Would it possible to create a new section in the forum so that the developers could work all together? I think that it would be a good idea to make the community even more dynamic! _________________ It's time to make games! |

Wow! You know, I was just thinking about you, Bis, a little bit ago when I was searching for old plotscripting questions of mine and saw all of your mammoth threads. Did any of those games ever get to completion?
As for your question, isn't there already a user group and/or hidden forum for developers here? _________________ My first completed OHR game, Tales of the New World:

I've made a big 2 years pause and hopefully all my games are saved and I still can go on making them! ^_^
I've searched for the user group and/or hidden forum for developers here and I found was an usergroups named "programmers" but there's just a list of members of the forum.
There's also a part of the forum called "programming central" but there are questions for C+/C++ programmers and does not seem to include free basic and custom.exe. (May be I didn't read carefully)
What are we supposed to do when we have questions about the free basic language? Does "programing central" involves questions about free basic and custom.exe? _________________ It's time to make games! |

By being a part of the Programmers User Group, you gain access to the "Programming Central" forum (I added you). This forum is dedicated to any programming related questions you may have, be it for Freebasic, C, C++, or any other language. Feel free to post your questions there. Hopefully we can help.
Cheers,

I tried to join the programmers group, but I can't figure out how groups work. All that happened is that Programmers disappeared from the list of groups :( |

Groups require that the Group Moderator accepts or rejects each user who requests to join. I've accepted your request and you should be able to see the programming forum.

For questions about FreeBasic, you could try the FB forum or look here for the manual and useful articles like tutorials.
For questions about the OHR, feel free to post on the 'Mailing list'.
Plus of course the Programming forum, and IRC (#ohrdev and #hamsterspeak), a good place to find... me. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
