OK...there's a new button "Current Chat Info", which I'm testing out.
It connects to IRC, sends a private message which prompts a response of the current time (Mountain Standard -7 ), a list of users in #paradoxlounge, and the last 2 lines typed.
I've tested this script with High Speed internet and had no problem loading up to the last 5 lines typed in #paradoxlounge. However, with the help of Giz, 2 lines seemed to work fine on dial-up.
With the current 30 second max execution limit, connecting, formatting, and displaying was tight on dial-up.
So, if you're wondering who's in the chat room right now and if there is any coversation going on (compare last line's time stamp with the current time) give it a try.
If any script time-outs occur, please let me know...it'll either be caused to too much data being transfered in too little time, or I was kicked off of IRC for some reason (loss of connection, net-split, power outage). We'll see how it goes.
