I can totally relate, man. There have been many times when I couldn't bear the thought of conforming. It was like drowning to me. I even made up new ways to walk and talk, which made me stand out (in a bad way, but at least I was being different). Eventually, I harrassed people for being normal. Like, "Lol! You're normal. You are inferior to me!", nothing different from how they treated me, so the tables were turned. I felt a whole lot better. What I did was what sepparated my people from the common drones. I guess it's only people who aspire to being leaders that feel this way, because the drones don't really go anywhere without a leader. So, back on topic, I'd have to say yes.

I think I can understand your tension, PHC. My advice is to believe what ever you like about where leaders come from. Truth is set in stone and no word can change the face of stone. I respect your opinion none the less.
