I can't use the english patch, and the ROM doesn't even work with snes9x like it's made for. It gets stuck on a loop on the title screen, and the screen never shows, the sounds keep repeating. I renamed the file to have the same name as the patch, and they are in the same folder, so why isn't it working. I can play it on Zsnes but apparently it freezes badly.

Downloaded the ready-patched version, the game is lots of fun. Just past the second dream sequence. The dungeon crawling is fun, but it can be disorienting.
