I know that I haven't updated you on this game lately but thats because I have not done much work on it. I am proud of my graphics though, tile real well and look real desolate. Will post pics.

It looks a lot better full size I assure you. Also the colour appear to have darkened, so in a certain light it looks rubbish, but I've only used 4 colours, all different shades of brown, and it looks as desolate and tiles as well as I could hope for.

Well, you have the right idea. Just add a bit more variety in there when you get the time. I see a tail and what apeared to be four legs, but now I see it's a dead tree. Am I right?
A little depth should perk your tree right up. Sew has an adequate tutorial on how to give trees some life.

Yes, It's an attempt at a dead tree. I'll try to add depth, perhaps a greater concentration of the darkest brown at one edge? Thanks for the c+c.

Sure, add a darker shade of brown to the edges. As long as it has contrast to the ground, it'll look better than flat.
What you want to watch out for is making 20 shades of a color that go inward. Makes an object come to a small point, which is only good if you are making something pointy, and trees are not pointy.

Hey, if you want to hear my first Cair Navon song, the waltz is 3/4 of the way done, and uploaded. I just need C+C, to help me out. It is called "World in Peril". I want to know if it's good. It will play on the title screen.
