Both were intentional :p
Also, regarding Mouse interface.
Tried it out, got it to work somewhat, but a couple of issues appeared.
For one, NPCs don't show up when you've got a backdrop on.
I guess I could just move the Status Screen image onto a map and use that.
Also, Strings appear on top of text boxes.
I suppose I could hide all of the strings before the description box shows up and then show them when it goes away.
Actually, taking a look at these, they don't seem that bad to handle.
[edit] Also, Buelle is not a pig :( |

Happy Day!
The cursor, the loop, the descriptions (well, health is the only one implemented so far..), the exiting, it works!

Mmm, I may just be able to find a use for it yet!
[Edit]
Now I just need a neat "Ca-Chik' sound when you click on a box!
Also, is there such a call as 'Wait for Mouse Click', or something like that? |

You say "placeholder," I say "looks real nice."
I don't like how the textbox border is cut off on the bottom, though. _________________

Quote: | You say "placeholder," I say "looks real nice." | Agreed. Those tiles look good enough for a finished product.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, the floor needs to be separated from the wall a bit more somehow. Not just how it connects, but as a whole. _________________

Positioning text boxes to the very lowest spot does that.
This will most definitely be looking at some changing.

This.
I'll probably try making the walls brighter or something when I make the polishing round.
Again, I love the new default palette. |
