The book was not enjoyable in the least for me.
What would make the game any different?

I'd actually love to play this if it's done right. You need to make sure you have a strong handle on the characters before you tackle a project like this, though. Otherwise it'll have the same appeal as hunting down a graham cracker.
Epic Marathon 6 is coming in two weeks, and I could see this type of theme fitting in with the new story line. Maybe consider entering if you're gonna make this game. I think you'll like the twist involved.
