This is the last time I'm going to reply to you in this thread. I urge everyone else to either ignore Fyre or send a complaint to Inferior Minion unless you prefer to speak in his defense, in which case don't do it here, this thread is about the Human Day contest. i have no problem w/ this contest. i did the same thing to moogle1's xmas contest, in 2001 -- created an alternate contest because i didn't agree with another one.

though i will reiterate that i have delievered every prize except the immortality rings and the three reviews, and i'm still working on the reviews. they may be finished before this human day contest is over, or they may not. it's not fraud because i didn't specify *when* i would give out the prizes. i'm still getting to them. i admit i'm doing it more slowly than i should.

It's not disruptive anyway. Gil said you could win without going against the theme; you just have to make him laugh out loud three times instead of one. I would be really, really impressed if someone won both.

And I had completely forgotten about winning SoJ. You know, I'm kind of used to never getting prizes from the contests I win. (But now that you've reminded me, I will hold you to it.)

The main thing my alternate judging does is make the contest more challenging and create an added peak of success and reward. There's never anything wrong with that. If you want you can ignore me and only enter on the Rinku side of the contest, or you can ignore Rinku and only enter on mine, or you can try for both prizes and become the talk of the town! Certainly there's competition between my judging and Rinku's, but who doesn't like competition?
