The main problem with that is that an NPC is needed to display the cursor. Perhaps we can put a setting for a cursor graphic. Then, an NPC won't be wasted on the mouse, and it'll be useful everywhere.
I'll propose it on the mailing list, and then maybe add it, if I can figure out how. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

Ok, do you mean the put NPC() to put the cursor, or other npcs? Try removing the cursor NPC from the map, and using create NPC to both create the cursor and get a reference to it. Then, use the reference in put NPC.
Perhaps you could email (caron.mike [at] gmail.com) the game and script to me, I can take a look at it. Maybe it's a bug in something. _________________ I stand corrected. No rivers ran blood today. At least, none that were caused by us.

if you had to put them in auto-load, that means you needed to initialize the mouse before you tried to use it. even if you initialize the mouse when you start a new game, and then saved, you still need to initialize it again when you load a game. so perhaps you were trying to use the mouse before it was initalized. _________________ Tower Defense Game |

| Wait, you want the to trigger the on-keypress script? Is that why you couldn't get it to work? |
