Wow! I'm impressed with this game. It took me around 5 hours to finish this demo, and all I can say is that this game has the best storyline of any ohr game I have ever seen. Firstly, this game is entirely original. There are no goblins, orcs, or elves... every race and monster in the game has been originally developed by the creator. Secondly, the story itself is well developed as the party travels through different dimensions, splits up numerous times, and gains many new allies. Lastly, the story is GOOD! It's interesting! It's well developed! It's mysterious! I like it a lot! This game is basically about a hovering Walthrosian fish named Bob Surlaw who travels throughout the world, not only trying to save it, but finding out more and more about the mysterious past of the planet and how he relates to it. Bob travels to different dimensions, twisted parodies of the Walthros he knows. This is an excellent way to develop possible endings to the game but still leave the player wondering what's going to happen next. There is a large variety of quests (although they are all rather short) which should keep most players entertained throughout the game, simply to hear more of the intriguing story. However, there are a few problems in the game unrelated to the storyline.

Let's talk about graphics. The maptiles are fine. There is a good use of shading and they are pleasing to look at. The walkabout and battle graphics could really use some work. All of them are devoid of shading and could be much improved with just a bit of work. If you can shade maptiles it shouldn't be hard to shade walkabouts or in-battle graphics. Then the whole game would look nice. I would have also liked to see more in depth attack and weapon graphics. Characters should swing their swords at enemies instead of the sword simply appearing in their hand in the second frame. And some attacks didn't even have graphics... a bit disappointing... Then there's music. I can't say I enjoyed it. It might just be that my computer can't play the voices in some songs but it seemed that most places didn't even have music. The battle music, in my opinion, was the very essence of boring. It made me want to yawn every time I heard it. The boss music wasn't very interesting either. Everything should be more upbeat. There were a few town tracks I liked though. The storyline was incredible, I already said that. Gameplay was another area where this game could really use improvement. I wouldn't say the battles are hard, just boring. Everything is too slow, doesn't do enough damage and has too much life. And I just didn't get the feeling that my special attacks were doing any more damage than my normal attacks. I never used Bob's summons and most characters regular weapons are just as good as their special attacks (which cost too much anyway). The enemies could use more variety too, I found myself fighting a monster called dinosaur evil for at least three different boss battles, and all of them took too long. Additionally, my special attacks probably would have been useful If I had known which elements each enemy had (it wasn't very obvious) and I couldn't remember what was good against what anyways. My fear is that players might get discouraged from finding out the rest of the story because of the lack of gameplay. A few minor changes could really improve this area.

Scores:
Graphics: The maptiles were great. But the battle graphics suffer from a lack of shading and creativity.
5.0/10.0
Music: Ugh. It might just be my computer. But I found the music really boring. Music makes the game! So make it better.
2.0/10.0
Storyline: Wow! Incredible. This is the strong point of the game. A bit more character development and maybe an intro could add a lot.
9.5/10.0
Gameplay: It gets better toward the end of the demo but for the most part the battles are slow, easy, and boring.
3.0/10.0
Overall (Not an average score): This game has an excellent storyline. A few changes in the Gameplay, Music, and Graphic areas could go a long way though. But I still recommend it to anybody.
6.0/10.0
