I would like to know how you can just create a automatic .exe command for your game. Like as Done in Fenrir's FFH, TS1, and TSSE. Like that. Also I would like how to make icons, like .ico . |

Copy game.exe and rename it <name of the .rpg file>.exe. For example:
FFH.rpg would have a file FFH.exe which is just a copy of game.exe renamed. _________________

Easy, take game.exe, and rename iot to RPGFILE.exe.
And I don't remember about .ico files. They're pretty useless anyways. |

The rename-game.exe rule only applies to the OHR (unless some other game engine also uses it). Most programs will nevernotice if you rename the executable.
As for ico files, there are a couple of freeware programs out there that create them. Nowadays, they're normally embedded into the exe files, and dll files. Ico files can only be used on shortcuts and CD autoruns. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |

Well, what we at Realmsoft have used to create Icons is a nice, easy to use program called IconForge. It's not hard at all to learn, and all you have to remember is to name the .ico file after your .rpg and .exe file, so that when you open your .exe, you'll see that icon in the window..AND!
Make a Start Menu Shortcut to it, and it will automatically pull up the icon you created. _________________

GIMP has .ico files in its supported formats list, but the ico files it generates aren't windows ones. _________________ "It is so great it is insanely great." |
