this -
Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/castleparadox/www/html/forum/download.php on line 81
?
Whenever I try to download a game, that pops up. Is there any way to fix this? I am on a computer at the library. It's Windows XP, I believe...

They let you download games at the library?!
sorry...
I only download at home myself, so no problems. Perhaps the library has caught you and blocked all downloads... It that a possibility _________________ Planning Project Blood Summons, an MMORPG which will incinerate all of the others with it's sheer brilliance...

I doubt that the library would set up something that would stop people from downloading; most people download to a floppy - as I want to do - so it's no problem. And if someone does try to download to the harddrive, a box pops up telling them they don't have Administrative Privileges, and they get a warning from the Computer Center Librarian. Perhaps there's something else about these computers then...any ideas, anyone? |

I'm having the same problem. Fix it, someone.
Oh yeah, I'm using Windows XP and Internet Explorer. _________________ "Everyone has 200,000 bad drawings in them, the sooner you get them out the better."

Nothing is wrong with your computers. A parse error is the same thing as a error in the syntax of the PHP script. That being said, I get it and everyone else should as well.
I'll look into it right after I post this, although Inferior_Minion wrote it, so you may have to wait for him to get to it.
But, I should be able to pick apart the code... So, we'll find out shortly, I guess. Heheh.
(On a side note, if you're getting these errors... Please let us know right away. PM either me or Inferior Minion and we'll get right on it. Try me first, since I have a lot more time than IM right now)
EDIT: There, I fixed it. Now my question is how it got like that, heheh. |

I thought I changed it back already....I was trying to make it so the download name was the game name instead of game ID number. I couldn't get it to work correctly...sorry....I thought I reverted back to the old version when I hadn't _________________
