The reality of the situation =

Rinku says: Mister Rogers helps kids because it makes him feel good.

Everyone else says: Mister Rogers helps kids because it makes him feel good.

The difference between those two statements is what we're having our argument about. Everyone uses words differently, and a spanish guy isn't retarded or evil because he thinks that a car is called a carro.

I think everyone would get along better if we got rid of words ending in ist and ism, we'd be forced to let reality be the beginning and ending of everything.

Now let me think back real hard; back in Zantetsuken, White Mage did this to every thread in the Duhh forum. I'm not sure, but I think this is one of JSH's joke accounts (which is terribly out of place here in CP).

Things have changed. JSH doesn't want to alter his 666 post count, so he's using his joke accounts as his normal ones.

Since he's only doing it on a small scale, does it really affect anything? Not if you ignore it.

of course, you know, the easiest way to avoid the revival of dead threads is to have the moderators lock threads that had their last reply a month or more ago. unless of course the thread isn't expected to get replies more than once a month (such as the monthly avatar contest).

However, by only seeing a few threads locked, it gives users a kind of guideline as to what the moderators will close. A "Don't do this" kinda thing.

By locking all old threads, you lose that sense of "This thread was locked due to obvious problems"
