Ew, Game Boy Advanced is a horrible machine! It's only got about 56k of RAM. You'd be better thinking about PSP or a non-handheld device. (For ease of programming, use the Xbox) _________________ Moogle no longer owes prizes. |

OK. To answer uncommons question. Yes, you can submit already made titles. This competition is to see what the best title screen ever or yet to be made is.
I really dont mind. Bend the rules, if you really want. (Just keep to the topic) _________________

Um.. Jabbercat?
Do you own a GBA? It's one of the best systems ever released in the US. The average quality of its games is greater than that of all three next-generation consoles, even though one-fifth of the games are remakes.
And having lower processing power/whatever doesn't matter. The system creates an optimum environment for the games it possesses, much like the SNES did. |

| Seriously, does someone who works with OHR have any room to speculate on how "capable" a system is? |

Generally, developer's kits aren't too hard to use. The PS2 is renowned for being a hard format to program on, but Sony will probably address that with the PSP. And getting a hold of the PSP kit won't be any harder than getting a hold of a GBA kit. _________________ Moogle no longer owes prizes. |

WOw... O_o... I totally LOVE your title screens (note the sarcasm)
How does a title screen competition turn into a console debate?
Please stick to the topic. _________________

We are making it on the GBA because I feel that pixelation is more artistic then mainstream 3d graphical games. Also because, like JSH said, the GBA is a great system, and it is similar to the SNES (which is, in my opinion, the best system ever released).
There. Problem solved. _________________ But enough talk, have at you! |

Well, that's one reason I watched the fanart submisison thread like a hawk.
But it might help things move along if you made a submission.
though, really, why bother? Tim's going to win anyway. |

ok. This is a attempt at making a screen for winterfold.
I know its not 320X200. But, as I said. Rules can be bent. (slightly) _________________

That kinda defeats the purpose of having rules. _________________ Moogle no longer owes prizes. |
