I get a lot of error messages on these forums. Until just recently I couldn't even stay logged in after clicking on more than one thread. A lot of times when I click on any thread here I'll get this long confusing error message about SQL or something, but when I go back and click the thread it goes to it correctly. I also keep getting errors in the gamelist... does anyone know what I'm talking about?
And on my first attempt to post this I got an error message... _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

Yeah, this just started happening. It's a glitch in the database. Cube was actually the first one to have the error about a week or so ago. Then the error spread. I hadn't seen it until today. I'm working on fixing it as I type.
Refreshing usually solves the error...for about 5 minutes _________________

Well, I haven't figured out why the error is popping up, but I do know it is caused by phpBB being unable to delete sessions that have expired from the sessions table.
I altered the code so that instead of getting a white screen w/ the error message, you have errors along the top of the page, but the page still loads.
Hopefully that will suffice until I get a response from phpBB on their support forum. _________________

Also, it is seems to be IMPOSSIBLE to edit any game you have up. No matter how many times you refresh. It still displays the normal long, confusing message but also says 'could not obtain gamelist information.' _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

It must just be mine, I figured it out. See, the link for editing it was:
http://www.castleparadox.com/cgi-bin/game.php?mode=edit&
which didn't work. I went back to the gamelist and looked at how the links there worked, so I just typed in 'game=120' after 'edit&' and it let me do it. It's a bit odd, but at least I can edit it now.
EDIT: Good, and it doesn't let you see other people's games either. _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

find out your game number, copy the adrress edit game takes you to into your adress bar and add to the end of it: "game=<yourgamenumberhere>"
It should work after that. _________________ Preserve OHR history! Do it for the children! |

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:
And that's it. Happens at random, for apparently no reason. |

Actually that was all the details. It returned that exactly, with nothing else. And it occurs at random from what it seems. |

OK, I should have clarified: That error means that you are trying to access a php script that doesn't exist. It also depends on the browser you're using. MSN Explorer gives me that error, IE gives a "We cannot find page" error.
To show you click here.
That links to test.php which does not exist anywhere on the server.
Next time you get that error message, could you copy the url? That would be helpful. _________________
